NRSK records ONE DAY RUST at Shoe String Studios in Belchertown on 8 track ¼ inch with Mark Alan Miller. They recorded it for $800, and completed the album in one week, during evenings after classes. Miller, Pinkerton and Hunter add songs.
At that point, their influences and reference points were obvious:
ONE DAY RUST retains a cohesiveness impressive for nineteen year olds writing original material, and Mark Alan Miller shops the record to Axis Records out of San Francisco.
