NRSK and Axis receive a cease & desist order from Miller's dad's attorney (who coincidently also worked for Aerosmith).
Without the band's knowledge, Miller had copywrited all the songs on ONE DAY RUST as his own despite a few songs that were cowritten with the band or written by Pinkerton or Hunter.
Fearing the worst, Axis cans ONE DAY RUST and tells the band that they have serious doubts about their future without Miller's songwriting talent.
