Grass Records has a total re-haul. Along with Camille Sciarra, everyone the band has known is gone and Alan Meltzer changes the name to Wind-Up Records. At a meeting with the CEO, NRSK are informed that they will need to provide some "real hits" if they are to "continue with the Wind-Up family". Meltzer then asks them (with no irony) why they can't write songs more in the vein of Hootie and the Blowfish or Better than Ezra.
